Privacy Policy

Purpose

1. The purpose of this privacy policy is to let users of the SafeSite mobile application from Cloudscape Ltd know when we collect personal information and what we do with it. We do not use, share or transfer personal information in connection with the application except as set out in this policy.

Collection, storage and use

2. Registering SafeSite
When registering to use the SafeSite app you are asked to enter certain details such as your name, phone number and email address. Some of this information will be viewable by Site administrators, and authorised users of the SafeSite app and Virtual Superintendent solution.

3. Holding of information
Personal information that you provide will be held by Cloudscape Ltd, and may be shared with, and held by, Third Party Contractors to the extent necessary for the services they provide related to the administration, improvement, and/or securing of the Site and the information it contains. Email addresses are not made available to the public.

4. Use of personal information
We will only use personal information provided to us for the purposes of administering, evaluating, improving, and securing the Site and the information it contains, improving our services and communicating with you.

Information that is being collected

5. Accessing capabilities of your smart device
Aspects of the SafeSite app require access to various capabilities of your smart device. We may use some or all of the following:
* Camera
* GPS
* Add, delete, modify files
* Network connection – cell or WiFi
* Bluetooth settings
* Accelerometer

6. Area restrictions
The SafeSite application will only work inside a specified project boundary. GPS positions are not recorded that are outside boundary areas that you establish.

Uses of the Information

7. Providing services to you
The SafeSite application may use information provided or collected by you for the following:
To provide services to you e.g. allow you to see a hazard on the map, or find another person working on your project
To provide services to others on your project e.g. to allow others to see where you are on the project and make contact via phone or txt message
To provide quality control e.g. record specific data like concrete test data that can be accessed later for an audit
To provide productivity data e.g. record the number of loads of material that have occurred from one location on your project to another
